Recorded by Vincent Talpaert at Vi-Tal Corp. 2024/2025
When the Doghouse and Bone label offered to record some of my favorite country music, I knew right away I was going to take over the songs of Bill Monroe, Jimmie Skinner and the Stanley brothers.
The music of these men has everything that had a huge impact on my own music through the years.
It has the acoustic string instruments that I favor, it has the spiritual that I worship, the deep lonesome sound that moves me so much, the blues that I cherish and simple lyrics that touch the very bottom of my heart and soul.
I loved doing it and I hope that you, good people, will enjoy these sounds of faith and sorrow.
